Watercolor Inside & Out - Barbara Maiser CANCELLED
Description: In this 2 day workshop Barbara will demonstrate her painting methods for both indoor and outdoor painting. Students will have their choice of working from life in the studio or outdoors on the grounds of the Lyme Art Association or the adjacent historic Florence Griswold Museum. Emphasis will be on creating a more effective painting statement utilizing good design and composition. Personal instruction and daily class critiques will be an important part of this workshop.
Dates: Saturday & Sunday, June 21-22, 9 am - 4 pm
Fees: $200 for Members, and $255 for nonmembers

Instructor Bio: Barbara Maiser is an internationally known watercolorist and the author of the book, Artist's Projects You Can Paint, 10 Watercolor Tablescapes Loose and Light. Barbara studied at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts and is currently an elected artist member of the Salmagundi Club and the Connecticut Watercolor Society. She is a featured artist in the Spring 2008 issue of Watercolor magazine and was accepted into the 2008 American Watercolor Society’s International Exhibition in NYC. View Elected Artist Page »
