Outdoor Painting - Jack Broderick CANCELLEDDescription: This course is a plein air painting course. On days when the weather is too cold or too rainy, we will paint indoors and take advantage of the studio to review some of the key concepts in Carlson's Guide to Landscape Painting. When the weather is good we will paint outdoors. All levels of painters are welcome. Dates: Tuesdays, 9-12pm, April 29- May 27 Fees: (Members) $160 for 5 week course, (Nonmembers) $185 for 5 week course Related LinksInstructor Bio: Jack Broderick lives and paints in Eastern Connecticut when he is not traveling. Jack studied at the Lyme Academy University of Connecticut, University of Notre Dame and Marist College. A full time artist and teacher, Jack spends some of his time painting in Argentina, Spain and Ireland returning to exhibit and teach. The Museo de Pintura Jose Terry at Tilcara, Provincia de Jujury, Argentina hosted a late September Exhibition of his work. Beautiful portraits, vibrant still life and light infused landscapes are elegantly presented in traditional frames. New England streams, fields, waterfronts, Irish farms, Spanish cities and Buenos Aires sidewalk are among Jack's favorite studies.
