Painting the Impressionist Landscape - Lee Boynton

Description: Enjoy painting outdoors at the height of the summer. For over a century serious artists have been attracted to Old Lyme's varied and beautiful countryside. The vast tidal marshes and sparkling tributaries, surrounded by glacial hills and forests, offer a challenging range of landscape subjects. This workshop will focus on applying Impressionist theories to capture the summer light. We will also explore and apply compositional principles that will aid you in the design and execution of your paintings.

Dates: July 13-15, 9am-4pm

Fees: Members $325, Non-members $350
