| Paula Billups came from Texas in 2001 to begin painting studies at the Lyme Academy in Old Lyme, CT where she received her BFA in 2005. Paula’s aim in painting is quite plain; she finds the truth of the person or thing presented to her. When painting, she engages fully in empathy for the subject.
