Landscape painter, Trenton Forsters Young, was born in New York but grew up in and around small New England coastal towns, including Mystic and Stonington, CT. Trenton studied at the Norwich Art School in Norwich, CT. The Scholastic Gold Key Award and being voted the class artist, were just two of the many honors and awards that he was to receive during his four years of study there. The artist's work is and has been shown in many select galleries, private collections and museum exhibitions such as the Lyman Allyn Art Museum, Slater Museum and the Lyme Art Association, where his work has been honored with two First-Prize Awards
