Drawing on Tradition - Andrea Fenn

Description: Drawing on Tradition covers the elements of drawing, including line quality, volume, value and composition presented in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere. Drawing is a worthy and fulfilling endeavor, as well as a jump-off point for all other art media. Emphasis in this class will be placed on observation, creativity, and individual expression working from a variety of still life subject matter, as we explore the basics of making a series of marks on paper in order to develop successful drawings. This class will be held in the gallery. Note there will be no class on April 22.
