Gesture Drawing Sessions - Sue Chism
Description: Good figure drawing relies on the ability to capture gesture weight and movement with experienced line and rendering. One of the best ways to build up these skills is to draw many figures and learn to get the flow and character of the pose quickly. These uninstructed sessions are set up to give the artist practice loosening up with shorter drawings where they will have the benefit of momentum and repetition inherent in gesture poses. There will be an optional hour long pose at the end of the session but most poses will be from two- five minutes. Pre-registration required.
Dates: Fridays, 1-4pm, March 7-May 30
Fees: $150 for Members (13 week session), $185 for Nonmembers (13 week session)
