Rembrant, Reubens & You - Diane Aeschliman

Description: This is four week head-painting workshop, based on a traditional method of monochromatic painting known as “grisaille”. Not only will it reinforce your knowledge of the structure of the head, you will learn one of the most successful and approachable ways to master the painting process. By using this one-color, grisaille method, you will work to create a volumetric head in light, with correctly aligned features, and to explore the textural changes from skin to hair, without the worry of color mixing. Many of these studies become lasting works of art. New students welcome as well as all levels.

Dates: Thursdays, 1-4pm, March 6 - 27

Fees: Members $165 for the 4 week course, Nonmembers $200 for the 4 week course
