Still Life Painting - Hollis Dunlap
Description: The basis of traditional painting is the ability to represent simple objects well, with that in mind, this is a still life oriented class designed to give the student a sense of direction whatever the subject matter being painted. We will develop an understanding of how to depict 3-dimensional forms with precise drawing, which is essential when one moves on to portrait/figure painting. The idea is to develop a sense of excitement and discovery when working from simple set ups. Nine students per class.
Dates: Wednesdays, 2-5pm, April 2- May 28
Fees: $300 for Members, $330 for Nonmembers for a 9 week course
