Figure/Portrait Sculpture - Sue ChismDescription: In this class we will sculpt in clay from a model posing so that the student could choose to do a portrait or a whole figure. Finding the individual character of the model expressed through form will be emphasized. Students will have the option to do studies outside of class to support the work done in class. This class is open to all levels and can be useful to artists wanting to strength three-dimensionality in their two dimensional work. Workshop sessions will be scheduled for students wanting to cast their sculptures. Students can join this class at any time. Dates: Tuesdays, 6:30-9:30 pm, March 4 - April 22 Fees: Members $290 for 8 week course, Nonmembers $320 for 8 week course.
