For over 100 years, artists have been painting and exhibiting their works in Old Lyme, Connecticut. The Lyme Art Association, founded by the American Impressionists who boarded with Miss Florence Griswold, continues to promote fine art and sales through a diverse schedule of exhibitions in its historic galleries.
We also take great pride in the quality and depth of the studio art classes we offer all year long. Our professional art instructors teach in a relaxed, friendly environment.
Class emphasis is always on the individual student's creative development and growth with courses for students of all ages, skills, and experience.
The Lyme Art Association uses Klopfenstein easels in all our studio art classes and workshops.
